Welcome to my webpage. I will let
you know of some of the things happening in my life, and my family's.
We have been enjoying life in Boise, Idaho. There have been opportunities
of meeting some great people, experiencing a great area and finding
a very nice place to raise our children. For those who have not visited
Boise, I would like to invite you to come and visit.
We have a great ward. Krista was assigned to work in the activities
committee, and I was called as the ward bulletin specialist. I think
I have one of the best callings, well at least best for me.
I have been slowly learning webpage design. I am getting better with
each project I start, but would like to learn even more. I never thought
I would actually like computers, because about a decade ago I had a
fear of them. I made fun of my brothers being "tech geeks"
because they had some of the earliest home computers back in the 80's.
But if it wasn't for Jeff, I guess I wouldn't have gotten into webpage
design.
The end of September brought a new job opportunity for me. I was offered
a job for Albertsons.com
here in Boise. I work for a company called TLC
Transportation based out of California. I drive an
Albertsons.com truck and deliver for their .com orders. It's a fairly
decent opportunity that has some perks. It's not what I would consider
as a career, but as an experience to someday give me a permanent career
opportunity. Maybe I can climb the .com corporate ladder and become
a district manager, or maybe I can get my foot into another department
of Alberstons (since it is based out of Boise). Maybe it will just be
a stepping stone for a totally different opportunity? I guess I will
see what the future brings.
I have been creating new business
ideas for my very much delayed web business. I have some proposals that
I am just figuring out how to present. One is with a print classified
here in Idaho. Jeff and I started a project a few years back that has
been kind of put on the back burner, but I know it has a lot of potential.
It's a matter of making it all work.
I have had fun creating this website for the family. I hope that all
of you get good use out of it. Let me know if you would like anything
changed or added to the site
