Megan Olivia arrived on January 20th,
2005 at 12:05 a.m. She was born 7 lbs 1 oz and 20 inches long. She's healthy
and strong (does have a good set of lungs on her too).
Krista went in the hospital on January 19th for a scheduled induction.
Labor progressed slowly throughout the day and evening until around 11:15
when she had her epidural. From that time (only dialated at about 5) she
progressed all the way to delivering Megan only about 50 minutes later!
The doctor barely made it in time for the delivery because it caught everyone
by surprise. It made for a long day and evening, but everything went very
smooth. Krista did well and was brave to go 95% of the way without any
pain medication.
So far Megan is a fairly good sleeper.
We do have to teach her that the night is the time to sleep the longest.
During the day she sleeps in 3-4 hour blocks, at night it's only about
2. Got to work on that!
