1 cup milk
¼ cup sugar
1 tsp salt
¼ cup margarine
½ cup warm water
2 packages yeast (1 Tbsp sugar)
2 eggs, beaten
5¼ cup unsifted flour

| Instructions: |

Scald milk, stir in sugar, salt & margarine. Cool to lukewarm.
Measure warm water into large warm bowl. Sprinkle or crumble in
yeast. Stir until dissolved. Add lukewarm milk mixture, eggs, and
2 cups flour. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour
to make soft dough. Turn out onto lightly floured board. Knead until
smooth and elastic, about 8-10 minutes. Place in a greased bowl,
turning to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place free from
draft, until double in bulk, about 30 minutes. Punch down. Turn
out on lightly floured board. Proceed to directions for cinnamon
buns.
