6 cups olallie or boysenberries
*
1cup sugar
4 Tbsp quick-cooking tapioca
½ tsp ground cinnamon
1/8 tsp nutmeg
1 Tbsp lemon juice
3 Tbsp berry liquor
Pastry for a double pie crust

| Instructions: |
In a large bowl,
stir together sugar, tapioca, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Add berries,
lemon juice, and liquor; mix gently, let stand at least 15 minutes
to soften tapioca, stirring gently now and then. Make pastry dough;
fill with berry mixture, add top pastry. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes
at 400 degrees.
*When using frozen berries, defrost and drain off excess liquid
before mixing with tapioca. 2 cups berries = 1 lb. berries
