Murphy's Tortilla Soup

1 bell pepper, diced
1 cups celery, chopped
1 cup yellow onion, diced
2 Tbsp olive oil
3 cups tomato puree
½ cup green onion, chopped
¾ cup Ortega green chilies, chopped
1½ cups tomato juice
2 quarts water
1 Tbsp chicken base
1 Tbsp beef base
1 tsp oregano leaf
½ tsp garlic salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp coriander
2½ cups tomatoes, diced
1½ cup whole kernel corn
GARNISH: tortilla chips
Monterey Jack Cheese, shredded


Instructions:
Sauté bell pepper, celery and yellow onion in olive oil until transparent. Add tomato puree and sauté 5 minutes more. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Serve. Garnish with tortilla chips and shredded cheese.
